Sometimes bad issues occur in good locations. Such an occurrence occurred in Baltimore on Monday. Baltimore is a mosaic of numerous neighbors and communities living and dealing together. As we witnessed although, not working properly enough. We all noticed the disturbing photographs on TV. We all skilled emotions we might quite avoid and we had been all saddened by what was occurring the place we work and where many of us stay. Fortunately, as of Tuesday morning, the Carey Business School and the Johns Hopkins community of scholars, faculty, and workers look like unharmed. We have responded by utilizing our distance learning applied sciences to keep lessons on observe. We will continue to be vigilant and react accordingly in the days ahead as occasions unfold. Our primary precedence is and will continue to be, safety for all. We will show our Carey adaptability and react appropr iately. Such disruptions to our sense of order and what constitutes acceptable conduct are not easy to explain. There may be triggers which are apparent but different forces at work are rather more complex. Our metropolis will want a while to type this out and make itself an even higher place to work and live for all. Baltimore is a good metropolis. It can be an actual tragedy to gauge our metropolis by the events of the last few days. Yet, we will have to prove to others why Baltimore is great. Baltimoreans will do this first by restoring order and confidence after which confronting any of our shortcomings as a citizenry. In coming days, we could have time to mirror and assume via how our environment has changed and the way we because the Carey neighborhood want to react and show our core value of “teaching business with humanity in thoughts.” The Carey community will show its leadership by remaining true to its values, by persevering with to draw the most effective college stu dents, college, and staff, and by developing business leaders who also serve as leaders of societies. The previous couple of days in Baltimore underscore the need for extra Carey graduates who know tips on how to innovate and get things accomplished.
